Fabrics
The performance specifications of luggage shell fabric used, along with logical engineering and precise assembly, is the most important factor in assuring the longevity and ultimate value in a luggage purchase.
  • 1050-denier "Senior" Ballistic Weave nylon shell fabric. High tenacity type #6.6 nylon yarn.
  • Heavyweight urethane rubber water barrier back coating applied in a costly but ultra-durable triple application process.
  • Stain & water resistant silicon surface finish applied after coating.
  • 200-denier Oxford nylon lining fabric with Andiamo logo print.
Leather
All Bravo styles feature a prominent band of plush top grain leather with the Andiamo signature logo.

Webbing
Ultra tough commercial specification nylon webbings with multiple reinforced stitching.

Hardware
  • Solid cast, copper coated metal hardware is finished with a durable gunmetal gray finish.
  • Injection molded quick release nylon hardware.
Zippers & Zipper Hardware
Bravo's high performance fabrics team up with the world's most advanced zippers to provide long term durability and security under extreme wear conditions. All external Bravo zippers are advanced technology YKK 8mm wide YKK Dura Coil. Low profile coil design and an advanced manufacturing process that actually melts the tape to coil's assembly thread into the coil gives Dura Coil the greatest cross pull strength and highest abrasion resistance of any polyester coil zipper made.

Bravo's zipper pulls are made with steel shanks and over molded with nylon grips. Their over-size oval shape is easy to grasp and pull. Their unique construction makes them ¼ the weight of typical all metal zipper pulls, yet 10 times stronger.

Inter-locking zipper bodies feature advanced low profile crown design to dramatically improve interlocking eyelet and zipper pull attachment strength. Zipper bodies incorporate the Quick-Fix replaceable zipper pull feature.

Zipper Wear Flap Construction
Andiamo's "belt and suspenders" engineering approach provides unparalleled durability. Even though BRAVO Luggage uses the world's most durable coil zipper we go a step further to assure BRAVO zippers remain reliable after years of hard use. The most critical & wear prone zippers are protected by an added rain & wear flap to keep them out of harms way to begin with.

Frame System Design & Components
Frames create the structure for the mobility components of wheeled luggage (telescoping handles and wheel assemblies) and protect the contents you pack. They are the indispensable building block of wheeled luggage.

BRAVO wheeled Pullmans (and other styles of our wheeled products) are built with a patented 5-sided frame. The top, bottom, two side walls and rear wall of our frames create a full enclosure resulting in an unprecedented level of protection for your packed contents and the key components that keep your rolling luggage on the road. U.S. Patent # 6,220,412 B1.

Our frames are made with an ultra-light Polycarbonate honeycomb material. It is extremely light yet rigid & impact resistant.

Another example of ANDIAMO'S "belt and suspenders" engineering approach: Once assembled every exposed corner of a BRAVO Pullmans is reinforced with an external impact & wear resistant nylon bumper. These bumpers protect the nylon fabric and frame in these obvious high wear zones.

Telescoping Handles & Wheels
BRAVO products use heavy-duty, recessed & locking 2, 3 or 5 stage telescoping handle systems with center of handle release buttons. Handles are constructed of aircraft quality aluminum tubing. Deployed telescoping handle height is at least 44" for all Pullman & wheeled duffel styles. Quiet rolling polyurethane in-line skate wheels are equipped with dual sealed ball bearing races. Wheels are engineered to provide 50 miles or more of lifetime service.

The high wear & impact prone wheeled corner of all checked styles are fully protected by a durable hi-impact skid plate. Both handle system and wheel mounting components are fully enclosed inside our patented 5-sided frame for extra protection.

Stability of Wheeled Styles
Exceptional maneuvering stability is assured by widest possible wheel placement. Superior standing stability of all wheeled styles is provided by low profile forward facing support feet. The front to back "foot print" of most styles is greater than the depth of the case itself. Expandable bags, awkwardly loaded bags or bags using the top carry strap feature remain upright when at rest.

Seam Construction
There is no excuse for a seam that comes apart; none. That is why every inch of every seam (whether internally or externally bound) is double, triple or even quadruple sewn with the strongest and most expensive nylon thread available.

Component Assembly
All frame and mechanical components are assembled with steel screws and threaded nuts. If ever necessary, BRAVO Luggage can be serviced easily, in the field with common tools.
